Pre-Conferences

For two days and before the official opening of the OWC, professionals and researchers from around the world are invited to share their latest research, work and reflections among peers during pre-conferences.

Complementing the congress, pre-conferences offer longer exchange times for smaller groups of experts and professionals, bringing together specialists from all over the world and helping strengthen networking between these actors. Proposed themes will thus be addressed in depth, with the real objective of joint reflection and action.

In a nutshell, pre-conferences are:

• One- or two-day events taking place from September 6-7, 2021, before the Organic World Congress’s main conferences (8-10 Sep 2021).
• Held in Rennes at the Couvent des Jacobins, online on the event platform or on Zoom (format to be determined by each pre-conference organiser).
• Proposed and organised by an organic stakeholder, by contracting with the OWC organisers.
• Dealing with a topic relevant for the organic sector and in line with the congress’ objectives and themes, complementing the various OWC forums.
• Addressing stakeholders from all over the world and not a country or a region only.
