OWC2021: How will you join us?

Not yet secured your ticket for the Organic World Congress 2021? There’s still time! This year, the OWC’s hybrid format allows you to participate digitally from wherever you are in the world, or to join us physically in Rennes, France, by purchasing one of the 500 limited face-to-face tickets.

Physical meets digital

The organisers are committed to maintaining this 20th edition of the OWC in a safe, inclusive way. To this end, the OWC2021 will be hybrid event, taking place digitally and on-site in Rennes, France. Find more information on the physical and virtual tickets on the OWC2021 website and our FAQ.


The Digital Package

Using the OWC digital platform, you’ll join the opening and closing ceremonies, plenary sessions, and symposium—all live, from wherever you are in the world. You’ll be able to access all sessions and exchange live with speakers, interact with all OWC participants, co-organisers and partners, visit our partners’ customised pages, and attend presentations from our e-posters. After the congress, all this content will remain available for you to view for 3 months!

The Face-to-Face

To respect health and safety measures, the number of on-site participants is limited to 500. These physical passes will be allocated to the first 500 people to sign up. You must first purchase the digital package in order to opt into the face-to-face option.

In addition to all features included in the Digital Package, the add-on option of attending the OWC in Rennes includes:

  • Physical access to the Opening and Closing Ceremonies
  • Physical access to the Plenary Sessions
  • Physical access to workshops and selected thematic sessions
  • Coffee and lunch breaks on 7-9 September
  • Access to social and networking areas
  • Access to spaces to connect to the digital event

Keynote Speaker Highlight

Johan Rockström is Director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and Professor in Earth System Science at the University of Potsdam. He is an internationally recognised scientist on global sustainability issues and led the development of the Planetary Boundaries framework for human development in the current era of rapid global change.
